The FPM's 3rd Annual Summer Evening Event Monday 24th June 6.00 - 8.30pm Rooms of the Medical Society of London 11 Chandos St, London W1G 9DR The FPM's 3rd Annual Summer Evening Event will be devoted to the 2013 Hippocrates Prize for Poetry and Medicine. Highlights include a reading by poet and doctor Dannie Abse, member of the judging panel for the inaugural 2010 Hippocrates Prize. The Fellowship of Postgraduate Medicine has been a major supporter of the Hippocrates Prize since it was founded. Tags: Medicine

The FPM is planning a series of sessions on Leadership and Management, starting in 2013. These sessions are aimed at a wide range of delegates: from clinicians in training, to more experienced health professionals looking to refresh their skills in leadership and management; and to health service managers and senior administrators. The 2012 Hippocrates Prize awards were announced by the judges, Martha Kearney, Professor Rod Flower, FRS, and Marilyn Hacker, at the Wellcome Collection, Euston Road, London.
